Your donations make it possible for us to serve some 500 patients per year who would otherwise go without care. With your donations, our volunteers and partners can provide and facilitate care that would cost several hundred dollars elsewhere for less than $20 per visit.  Thus, your donation will be multiplied to provide more than ten times its value in care.

We serve as a safety net for individuals who do not have medical coverage available to them, including those from other countries, and those with a high deductible on their health insurance.  These individuals often simply do not seek treatment for medical problems until too late. We would like to address urgent problems, educate people about self-care, offer early preventive care before serious damage is done, provide a bridge to tide people over until they may qualify for coverage, and facilitate referrals for specialty care as needed.

Major funding comes from the Rotary Clubs of Lake Forest Park, Shoreline, NE Seattle, Lake Forest Park Presbyterian Church, and from private donors.

We gratefully acknowledge a major donation of medical equipment and supplies from the family of Dr. Rod Skoglund.  Dr. Skoglund, a much-loved endocrinologist in Burien, died suddenly in June 2018, while still in active practice. His son Scott had been a volunteer in our clinic.

Thank you to SHIFA, the UW medical school service group, for donated funds from an auction in 2014 to complete construction of anexam room, consultation space, and storage area.
